As you know AdKyNet SAS tries to offer the best quality at the best price. And this, for three years now. But the company must now move to the next level in order to evolve positively..
That’s why we have planned a complete maintenance of our infrastructure this August 7th starting at 8PM (CEST).
Why a full maintenance ?
AdKyNet SAS has decided to change its technical partner to host its equipment, so we have planned all the elements to avoid having the least downtime for your services. We have been working on the migration since the beginning of 2023.
Which changes for us ?
It is a real technical challenge for us, the migration must be done quickly and as soon as we put our equipment in operation all must work more or less quickly (we do not rule out unforeseen events). So we have to change our network and now we have to deal with this part. That’s why everything has been prepared beforehand to avoid taking extra time on site to configure our network equipment. We now have our own network.
For our customers who have a VPS with us, your IPv6 will change to a /64 from AdKyNet SAS. Web customers will also have a new IPv6.
We invite you to consult the customer area as soon as we have completed the migration.
We know how important your service is and we can offer you one week compensation on your service by making a ticket.
How long will the maintenance last ?
We can’t be sure about the duration of the maintenance, we may have unforeseen events as we have indicated above, however, we will do our best to reduce these technical problems.
We estimate a maintenance period of 4 to 48 hours (due to network change for ou IPv4 block).
It is possible that we will also experience network disruptions during the first months.
Expected changes in service quality ?
New networks mean small hardware and small capacity, which makes them more vulnerable to attack. We’ll be doing our best over the coming months to avoid any major impact on your services..
That’s why we are focusing more on spending on the network from the moment it is deployed, but we will not be putting aside investments in our server infrastructure.
